For the past seven years, Barbara has concentrated her efforts in a variety of other industries as a consultant for small to mid-size business owners.
Barbara specializes in spearheading business transitions that have included multi-hundred million dollar private offerings, due diligence that translates into growth acquisitions, and migrations of subsidiaries to parent companies. She also engages in long-term consulting relationships with entrepreneurs, providing financial and strategic modeling, developing productivity expectations and measurements, negotiating debt/equity financing facilities and moderating executive management in cohesive directions in an ever-changing business landscape.
Graduating from Berry College with a BBS in Accounting and Business Management, Barbara began her career in Big 4 public accounting with Ernst & Young in Atlanta. While in public accounting she became a Certified Public Accountant. After relocating with her daughter to New Orleans for twelve years, Barbara now resides in the Tampa Bay area with her husband, Jeff. She enjoys tennis, all sporting events, traveling and time with family.
